Go to the Student Home Page at my.esc.edu.

Select the Registration and Course Offerings icon.

Select Begin or Modify Registration.

Enter the Term and click Continue.

Enter Search Criteria on the Find Classes tab.

It is very important to pay attention to search criteria in order to choose courses appropriate for your plan.

  • School: School of Undergraduate Studies
  • Session: You may choose course in our 8 or 15 week sessions. The 8-week express terms have a more limited selection.
  • Subject and Course Number: If you know the specific course you wish to take (ex: SOSC 3010), enter it in these fields. If you are doing a more generalized search (ex: looking for any Art Gen Ed), skip down to the Attribute field.
  • Mode of Study: If you prefer your classes to be limited to online, enter that here.
  • Attribute: This is the field to use for general education or ed planning searches. You can address multiple requirements. For example, if you need math, art, and basic communication general education courses, select all those options in the Attribute field.
  • Select Advanced Search
  • Course Number Range: If you need your search limited to advanced level courses, enter 3000 to 4999 as your range.
  • Open Sections Only: It makes sense to check this box in order to eliminate courses which have already filled.
  • Credit Hour Range: Occasionally, you may want to for courses within a specific credit range (for example, you may only need a 2 credit course).
